Odessa to Launch the «Dream» Educational Platform This Year
Odessa Introduces the Innovative «Dream» Platform
According to Oleksandr Lonchak, the launch of «Dream» is not just a transition to a new digital tool but also the beginning of a significant transformation in educational management — transparent, modern, and student-friendly for learners, educators, and parents.
Recently, the final online presentation of the «Dream» application and portal for educational leaders in Odessa region took place.
«Starting from September, all schools in the region will operate within the «Dream» digital environment,— he noted. «This will unite all participants of the educational process in a single electronic space».
What is «Dream»
«Dream» is a free digital platform that integrates all key elements of school life: schedules, grades, homework, chats, achievement analytics, a library of educational materials, and tools for teachers and parents. It is being developed and implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Education and Science with support from the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program.
The platform includes:
- electronic journal;
- schedule;
- feedback system;
- library of materials for students and teachers;
- other tools for organizing learning and communication.
Benefits of «Dream»
For Students: The platform offers personalized learning, a motivation system through internal currency «Dream Points», which can be exchanged for real bonuses, as well as access to extracurricular activities. Students will have access to e-textbooks, personalized recommendations and tasks, and educational videos.
For Teachers: «Dream» automates routine tasks, allows for schedule creation, checks homework (including automated checks), maintains electronic journals, and communicates with students and parents through secure chats. It has a vast database of ready-made tests, lessons, presentations, educational materials, and methodological guides.
For Parents: The platform provides transparent access to their child's educational achievements, simplifies communication with teachers, and assists in selecting extracurricular activities.
Preparation for the state certification exams: The platform includes special modules for preparing for state certification, including tests and error analysis.
Currently, preparations for its implementation are underway — including training for educators and technical connections for schools.
«Dream» is developed at the national level and aims to cover all educational institutions in Ukraine by the end of 2025, making the educational environment unified, convenient, and accessible.
