Teenage Information Hygiene Course
Today’s teenagers are constantly influenced by social media and often fail to realize that much of the content they encounter is deliberately manipulative or false.
In Ukraine, a free course on information hygiene for teenagers has been created to help them protect themselves online.
The training resembles a computer game with vibrant characters, quests, and rewards. It can be accessed from various devices including computers, tablets, or smartphones. After completion, participants can revisit lessons or retake tasks at any time.
The course was developed by Oksana Moroz, a researcher in the information field and author of the book “How Not to Become a Vegetable,” along with Kateryna Holtzberg, a child psychologist and president of the Professional Association of Child Analytical Psychologists.
The course is available online via the interactive platform Unicorn School. Register here: https://unicorn.itstep.org/infohygiene-training-course
Be sure to share information about the course with friends and family
or in parent groups — together we can make
the information space safer for our youth.
