Empowering Youth in Internet Safety
As part of the Internet Safety Day, a series of interactive lectures titled “Your Information Security” and “Cybersecurity Around Us” was conducted for students in Odessa's secondary schools. The objective of these lectures was to educate children on safe internet usage and how to identify fake information.
During the lectures, led by Denis Popkov, a senior lecturer from the Department of Information Technology and Cybersecurity at Odessa National Technical University, topics such as media literacy basics, safe smartphone usage, risks of free Wi-Fi networks, and enemy operations in the information space were discussed.
This series of lectures represents an important step in raising children's awareness about cybersecurity and will help them feel more confident in the online environment.
