Integrity Initiative in Education: New Horizons
Since 2022, the Integrity Office of the NAPC has been implementing the initiative titled «Transparent School», aimed at reforming the education system through the integration of new educational materials and enhancing the transparency of educational institutions.
On October 29, 2024, at the Odesa Lyceum «European», a presentation of the project «Transparent School: Towards New Standards of Integrity» was held for heads of general education institutions.
During the event, Serhiy Hupyak, Deputy Head of the NAPC, emphasized the importance of cultivating a culture of integrity and active education, developing new educational materials, and transforming the student environment.
Participants discussed effective ways to explain the concepts of corruption and integrity to children and practical methods for applying this knowledge.
While discussing the role of educational institutions in preventing corruption, the attendees outlined mechanisms that would foster integrity among participants in the educational process.
Project manager Alona Khylko presented new aspects of the initiative «Transparent School: Towards New Standards of Integrity».
Additionally, the meeting addressed the organization of educational work in Odesa's institutions in the context of preventing offenses.
