Mine Neutralization in the Black Sea: Coastal Safety

The Ukrainian Navy units have successfully neutralized another mine that was washed ashore by the waves near Odessa. They emphasize the need for caution due to the ongoing mine threat in the Black Sea.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine report the destruction of an enemy sea mine that reached the coast. Military sailors carried out this operation to ensure the safety of the coastal area.

«Our forces have destroyed another dangerous mine found near the Odessa coastline», — states the official announcement. This highlights the continuous threat posed by the presence of mines in this area.

The military reminds that there remains an active mine threat in the Black Sea. Coastal recreational areas can pose serious risks to vacationers and locals in the Odessa region.

In the event of discovering suspicious objects, it is strictly forbidden to approach or attempt to neutralize them. In such cases, it is important to immediately inform the relevant authorities at 101 or 102 and maintain a safe distance until specialists arrive.
