New Equipment Arrival for Odesa

Odesa has acquired a fresh batch of vehicles from Japan, comprising 10 water tankers and a truck.
Six of the tankers were handed over to the municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest» for operational activities, while four tankers and the truck were allocated to «City Roads» municipal service. This enterprise is responsible for maintaining city roads and bus stops, and during wartime, it collaborates with housing services to address the aftermath of enemy strikes.

Furthermore, all available tankers are utilized for water supply when necessary. For instance, Odesa's municipal workers transported water to the neighboring city of Mykolaiv when it was without water for several months. They also supplied water to the State Emergency Service for extinguishing large-scale fires in the ecosystem.

After attacks on the energy system, when Odesa was deprived of electricity, water, and heating, tankers were deployed to deliver water to areas lacking public wells.

«I would like to express my gratitude to our Japanese friends for their incredible support, and I wish health, happiness, and prosperity to our country. May 2025 bring new opportunities for our cooperation with Japan and the implementation of joint projects, hopefully regarding the restoration of Odesa!» - stated Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
