Tragedy in Odessa: Drone Attack
On the evening of April 21, 2025, the city of Odessa experienced a severe drone attack targeting a densely populated area. Fires broke out.
As a result of the attack, residential buildings, civil infrastructure, and vehicles were damaged. In three local schools, more than 90 windows were shattered. Two of these schools are currently operating remotely.
Information regarding casualties is still being clarified.
Local authorities, including the mayor of Odessa, along with emergency services, have arrived at the scene.
In the morning, an operational headquarters will be established, where residents can receive advice on how to submit applications for financial assistance to repair windows and doors, as well as to obtain compensation from the state budget under the eRecovery program.
Additionally, reliable partners - public and charitable organizations - will provide support by supplying kits for temporarily sealing window openings.
