New Developments in Cardiology in Odesa
Last week, the Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, Edem Adamany, visited City Clinical Hospital No. 11 in Odesa to review recent advancements.
The hospital recently unveiled a state-of-the-art cardiology department equipped with the latest technology. This is a significant step towards improving healthcare services in the area.
Plans are in place to expand diagnostic capabilities, as this hospital plays a crucial role in treating patients with multiple traumas.
During the visit, an assessment was made for the installation of an MRI machine, which is vital for:
- quickly and accurately assessing injuries in trauma patients;
- enhancing the quality of trauma diagnostics;
- ensuring continuous patient care without the need to transfer to other hospitals;
- expanding the capabilities of urgent and planned neurodiagnostics.
“The introduction of MRI will be a significant strategic step, reinforcing Hospital No. 11’s role as a leading clinical center for providing specialized care to residents and visitors of Odesa,” said Olena Kolodenko, Director of the Health Department of the Odesa City Council.
