Odesa Enhances Public Transport with New Buses
Odesa recently welcomed new comfortable buses from its sister cities, Regensburg and Istanbul. The low-floor Mercedes buses operate on vital routes linking healthcare facilities, social services, humanitarian aid points, and transportation hubs.
The first four municipal buses are already in operation on the social route «Train Station - 28th Brigade Street», with a 20-minute frequency.
Additionally, two more social routes have been launched in the city: «Sviatoslav Richter Street – Dihtyarna Street» and «Tiraspol Highway (Two Pillars) – Dihtyarna Street». Each route features two buses with an hourly frequency.
The routes operate from 06:30 AM to 08:00 PM, especially during peak hours.
The buses ensure access to all socially significant areas of the city and are free for the public.
