On November 27, 2025, Tatiana Kirienko, Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine, visited Odesa to familiarize herself with the work of local social services, particularly those aiding internally displaced persons (IDPs) and individuals affected by the armed conflict.

During her visit, Tatiana Kirienko toured:

  • The Center for Social and Psychological Assistance for IDPs and individuals affected by the conflict;
  • The Front Office of the Integrated Social Services Center;
  • The Rescue Assistance Center;
  • The “Veteran's Single Window” service;
  • The Service Center No. 11 of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Odesa region.

The main focus of the visit was on coordinating actions and uniting the ministry's efforts with local authorities and partners to avoid duplicating assistance programs and to ensure maximum effective support for vulnerable populations.

Tatiana Kirienko emphasized the importance of ensuring inclusion and accessibility of social services at all levels, which is a priority amid the wartime situation and post-war recovery of the country.

Odesa continues to be a city where people not only receive help but also warmth, support, and hope for the future.
